The people behind
Silver Springs.

Mr_Simba, also known as Jake, is the Owner and Developer behind Silver Springs Survival. He first found the server when a new friend on his dorm floor showed it to him during his first week of college.

He stayed because of the tight-knit community, open-minded atmosphere, and simple rules built around common sense. Today, creating new content for Silver Springs is his favorite part of the game—and his main creative outlet.

Jake’s favorite project is the current Silver Springs Village spawn. He enjoys that it captures the server’s personality and gives the community something to build on across maps. One of his favorite memories is meeting his wife through Silver Springs.

Jake describes Silver Springs as a possible “forever server” for many players: a place with something unique for people who are willing to give it a try. Outside of Minecraft, he enjoys Outer Wilds.

Beccc is the Head of Staff on Silver Springs Survival, helping with server builds, player support, general staff work, and feedback for the design team. She first found Silver Springs in 2014 while looking for a server to play with her boyfriend, after his server refused to whitelist her.

She stayed because the community was so friendly and helpful, especially while she was still learning Minecraft. These days, she enjoys both the community and the custom content.

One of her favorite projects is the Silver Scepter mage college, which she built alongside Autumn_Bun and Mr_Simba. The project was a major undertaking and became an important part of her friendship with Simba.

Beccc also met her real-life husband through Silver Springs, and the two of them now help run the server together. Outside of Minecraft, she enjoys Outer Wilds, Hades, and Stardew Valley.

MrJoned, also known as Jon, is the Head of Fun on Silver Springs Survival. He runs occasional community events and maintains the Silver Springs website. Sometimes he streams events on his Twitch and posts videos on his Youtube!

Jon first found the server on Christmas Day in 2012, after receiving Minecraft and searching online for a server to join. The welcoming community convinced him to stick around, make friends, and eventually apply for Moderator.

These days, his favorite part of Silver Springs is the custom content. He enjoys seeing the team create systems that make the server feel like “a whole new Minecraft.” He has also worked on projects like the VoidTek Labs spawn and the PvP arenas on the Caldera spawn map.

One of Jon’s favorite memories is the first Purge, before he joined the staff team. He enjoyed the temporary anarchic feeling of the server, especially when Star drained the ocean and spawned a Wither for everyone to fight.

Outside of Minecraft, Jon enjoys Elden Ring and very specifically prefers pepperoni pizza. His advice for new players is simple: “Join, and never look back!”

Autumn_Bun is the Designer on Silver Springs Survival. Jake first introduced her to the server, and she stayed because of the community and the friends she made along the way.

These days, Autumn_Bun especially enjoys seeing how players respond to the expansions she helps create. One of her favorite memories is watching the community theorize together in-game and on Discord during the most recent expansion.

Her favorite projects are the Silver Scepter mage college and the Arcanum. Outside of Silver Springs, Autumn is a huge space nerd who enjoys Outer Wilds, with Noita and Slay the Spire 2 close behind.

CubicBits is an Admin on Silver Springs Survival who prefers to spend his time in-game relaxing, helping out, and enjoying the community. He first found the server through his friend Sparka.

He stayed for the community and the laid-back atmosphere. One of his favorite memories is the first Runecrafting event, and he enjoyed helping with Spooky Springs 2026.

CubicBits’ advice for new players is simple: don’t be afraid to ask the community for help. Outside of Minecraft, he enjoys inFAMOUS and generally takes life one vibe at a time.

EvilDrac, also known as Drac, is an Admin on Silver Springs Survival. He first joined in 2012 with a friend after discovering the server through Planet Minecraft.

Although he doesn’t spend as much time in-game these days, Drac still follows what’s happening on the server and enjoys seeing what the community creates. He stayed because of the warm, friendly atmosphere and the custom features that give Silver Springs its own identity.

One of his favorite memories is the VoidTek Takeover, which brought an antagonist side to the Silver Springs story. He also has a soft spot for the old Greek-themed spawn.

Drac’s advice for new players is to take their time, ask for advice whenever they want it, and try something new without feeling overwhelmed. Outside of Minecraft, he enjoys Overwatch, The Outlast Trials, and Palworld, along with streaming and spending time with his girlfriend.

Frostearrific is an Admin on Silver Springs Survival, where she helps enforce the rules, supports the community, and answers questions. She also enjoys fishing, farming, building, and keeping a well-stocked supply of just about everything.

She originally found Silver Springs through Planet Minecraft and stayed because of the community—and because the server’s protection system gives players freedom without the hassle of a traditional claim system. These days, she especially enjoys the custom commands, features, and enchantments that make building more enjoyable.

One of her favorite memories is the first Runecrafting event, when the community joined voice chat to experience the story and combat together. She also enjoys seeing everyone come together during map resets.

Frostearrific describes herself as easygoing and is always happy to help newer players with questions, supplies, or anything else they need. Her favorite non-Minecraft games are Enshrouded and Valheim.

DrFeesh is an Admin on Silver Springs Survival and contributes as a builder and European community representative. He originally found the server through MinecraftServers and joined with a group of friends. After they eventually moved on, the strength of the community—and the regular map resets—gave him plenty of reasons to stay.

DrFeesh especially enjoys the server’s custom late-game content, including Trials of Valor, Valor gear, and custom enchantments. One of his favorite memories is the infamous Pickle Crash of ’29. If you were there, you know.

He helped build the newest spawn and enjoyed experimenting with display entities for the first time. He also has fond memories of Mushmarket, a custom marketplace built on a mushroom island for the community.

Outside of Minecraft, DrFeesh enjoys Cities: Skylines. He would like new players to know that the staff are friendly, helpful, and definitely don’t bite.

Lukayva is a Moderator of Silver Springs Survival. She is the master of all things spooky, and specializes in fitting as many decorations into her builds as possible.
