the “Big Three“
Trials of Valor and The Valor Shop
Trials of Valor and the Valor Shop sound very similar, and that’s because a lot of what goes on here is sort of part of the same system.
Trials of Valor (different from the new vanilla trials) are our unique spin on a traditional Mob Arena and the primary prizes are Trial Points, used in the Trial Shop, and Badges of Valor, used in the Valor Shop. More information about Trials can be found here.
The Valor Shop allows you to use Valor Badges to purchase custom items, armor sets, McMMO XP boosts, and more. More information about the Valor Shop can be found here.
Runecrafting
This is the big one. Runecrafting is our custom enchanting process! We currently have 93 custom enchantments! More on Runecrafting can be found here.
Gem Socketing
Each of your pieces of armor has 4 “Sockets” and each of these sockets can be filled with a gem. There are 7 gems, each of which gives a small bonus to a certain attribute. The primary way to acquire gems is to turn Trial Points into “Crusted Gems,” which you can then right-click to open for a random gem.
There are also two different categories of gems: stat gems and armor gems. Each stat gem will take up one of your Sockets, while armor gems will not.
Stat Gems:
Gem of Agility: +5% Movement Speed
Gem of Haste: +5% Attack Speed
Gem of Tenacity: +10% Knockback Resistance
Gem of Vigor: +1% Max HP (0.5 hearts)
Gem of Favor: +0.25 Luck
Armor Gems:
Gem of Preservation: +1 Armor
Gem of Fortitude: +2 Armor Toughness
More on trials
Trials are our unique spin on a traditional Mob Arena. Heavily customized, these are the ultimate test of bravery, combat prowess, and perseverance. Some are harder than others. Some you can do alone, some you have to. And others require good teamwork and strategy to complete.

🌟Relics
“Relics” are unique non-armor Valor items and require an item of their type to purchase (e.g. an Elytra is required to purchase Iron Cicada Wings). Most relic weaponry gains its behavior from a mythical enchantment. Mythical enchantments compete with normal enchantment groups and are denoted by a 🌟 symbol.

Chimaera is a hybrid bow which can split into or reform from two swords. It's back!

Turn the beauty of the void against them.
A bow with the mythical ammo enchantment Tesseract🌟:

If you enjoy using unique utility items to your advantage, this relic may be for you!
🌩️Supercell
Forged to calm the tides of war.
A mace with the mythical radial enchantment Ragnarok🌟:

Heirlooms
Through our custom heirloom system, you can take up to 3 items with you to the next map! Near the end of the map, we’ll notify the community when we open heirloom registration. A couple weeks into the new map you’ll be able to acquire your heirlooms. In order to acquire your heirlooms, you’ll need the same item type as the one you registered, with the exception of netherite items*. For example, if you register a diamond shovel as an heirloom, you’ll need a diamond shovel to acquire it on the new map.
*For netherite items you only need the diamond equivalent.
The Splurge
Not currently running!
The Splurge is our new end-of-map event, replacing the Purge, which has long been unpopular, uninteresting, and unbecoming of our communal spirit. We hope it retains some principles of the Purge while better serving as the last community hurrah of the map.
Overview:
The event will run from March 15, 2025 5:00 PM PDT until March 22, 2025 5:00 PM PDT.
Unlike the Purge, all standard rules will still be enforced. No griefing or hacking is permitted during this event.
Keep inventory will be enabled for the full event.
Economy:
Your balance will reset to 100,000 Simbucks™, plus bonus currency based on notable map accomplishments, such as a high balance or enchant discoveries.
Only items acquired during the event will be sellable to the shop. These items are tagged as “⭐Splurge Sellable”.
A lottery will run for the duration of the event. Tickets cost 1000 Simbucks™ each, and you can purchase any number of them.
PvP:
Every 4 hours, if 4+ people are online, 1 of 5 new survival world PvP arenas is chosen, and a command made available to random TP near it. The arena opens after 5 minutes, then closes after another 10 minutes.
Each arena has a highlighted inner zone, within which you automatically queue a purchase of 2 half-price lottery tickets per second.
If another player kills you while you're in the arena, they steal 50% of your queued tickets.
Upon fully exiting the arena (not just the inner zone - you must fully escape!), you purchase all queued, half-price tickets.

Tridents
Tridents can be crafted using 3 Twinkling Sea Crystals, 1 Nautilus Shell, and 1 Prismarine Shard.
Riptide is now more compatible with other trident enchants, including Runecrafted ones, and is only mutually exclusive with Loyalty.
Loyalty tridents are buffed to return if they fall into the void and return faster.
Shields
Shields can parry by blocking <=0.3 seconds before a strike. Parrying an attack stuns the attacker, while parrying a projectile reflects it.
Shields can bash by quickly double blocking, pushes enemies away in a radius in front of you.
Axe attacks only disable shields for 1.6 seconds rather than 5.
Potions
Applying splash or lingering potions to targets other than yourself grants mcMMO Alchemy experience.
Projectiles
Projectiles bypass invulnerability frames.
Stuns
Many Runecrafted enchants and items can stun enemies.
Stuns prevent the target from acting, but are broken if they take direct damage.
